Christmas Program and Band Concert – Everywhere, It’s Christmas
The annual St. Simon Christmas Program and Band Concert will be held Thursday, December 18.  The 1:15 p.m. show is for friends, siblings, grandparents and other visitors.  Because it is difficult for some people to climb the stairs, there will be some chairs available on the floor.  The 7:00 p.m. show is for parents only.  We hope that you will abide by this request so that all of our parents will have seats and will be able to see.  The Parish Center doors will open at 6:15 p.m.  Please do not save seats.
Come one, come all, to the St. Simon School Christmas Band Concert to hear them start off our Christmas Program.  Holiday tunes will abound, toes will be tapping, and your spirits will be lifted as you listen to our band students perform.  The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Center.  For more information, contact the band director, Mr. Craig Hirotsuka, at (650) 430-3800 or trmptplyr@aol.com.

Registration for the 2009-2010 School Year
Registration for the 2009-10 school year for current St. Simon School families will take place during the month of January.  All in-coming Kindergarteners as well as continuing students must register by the end of January to secure a place for next year. Open enrollment for new families will begin on February 9, 2009.  Please watch for a letter coming home the first week of January.

Copy Volunteer Needed
We are in need of a temporary Copy Volunteer to cover the mornings of Tuesday, January 6, and 13, and Thursday, January 8, and 22.  The volunteer is here for approximately 2 hours or less.  If available and interested please contact Mrs. Shirey at rshirey@stsimon.org or 968.9952 ext 10.

Free Dress on Friday
We will be having a fundraiser for Monique Larson on Friday.  It is a donation of $1 for free dress.  The sixth grade will be in the breezeway collecting money. This is strictly voluntary.

Financial Aid
If you are currently receiving Financial Aid or are interested in receiving Financial Aid for the 2009-10 school year, please contact Mr. Clossick directly to obtain a Financial Aid Application.  All families interested in receiving Financial Aid next year, even if you already are receiving Financial Aid, must submit a new Financial Aid Application for the 2009-10 year.

St. Simon Logo Wear
Could you add something in the weekly about logo wear being available for pick-up Weds after school in Spooncer Hall?  Additional sweatshirts, t-shirts, sweatpants, decals, and hats will be available in Mrs. Allen's office after the first of the year.  If a size is not in stock, orders can also be placed with Mrs. Allen.
