Parish Survey
Our newly formed Outreach and Social Justice Council has developed a parish-wide survey and we ask that you please complete this survey on-line before February 20. The link for the survey is: http://OutreachandJustice2010.surveyconsole.com <http://outreachandjustice2010.surveyconsole.com/>
Our Outreach and Social Justice Council has been formed as a result of all the input and interest expressed by parishioners during the first year of our 5 year planning. St. Simon has a very strong tradition of ministry for outreach and social justice. Building on this tradition the Council has developed a parish-wide survey to help identify any existing unmet needs in the parish, gather your ideas, and find out how people would like to get involved. Your voice is essential to the future of our ministries which provide care and support to parishioners, outreach to the greater community, and action around issues of social justice. This survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. Please try and do it today! All members of a household are encouraged to complete the survey. Deadline is February 20. Tell those who do not have internet access the survey is also available in paper form. We are handing out at all the Masses on the weekend of January 30, or a copy can be obtained from the rectory office.
Thanks and blessings,
Fr Warwick

Vacation Bible School 2010
This year’s camp will be held the week of June 21– 25 from 9:00am – 12:00pm. At this time we would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Melissa Powell and Joelle Baranowski for “giving back” their time and talents as Chair and Co-Chair of this event for the past several years. Unfortunately, they will not be returning to their positions, and we are in need of a co-chair or an assistant chair and several adult volunteers. We do not want this special activity for our children to be dropped, but if we do not have enough personnel to help with the program, we may have to do JUST that! Details on registration, cost, and more coming soon. Contact Sr. Kathleen at khanley@stsimon.org or call the parish office at 650-967-8311 if you can help with this wonderful summer camp!
