US History was never so interesting! This year we are going to experience US History through a multisensory approach. Holding mock trials, debates, playing games, researching, recording, small group discussions, and tons of group work.
A main focus this year is to prepare for the Washington D.C. trip. Much of what we will do in class is purposeful for the trip and we will specifically point out the relationship of our study topics to the trip. So, in order to accomplish this we will be moving through the curriculum out of order of the textbook.
We will of course cover ALL the state standards so our students will be fully prepared to take the next course of study in high school.
