SAINT SIMON STUDENTS RAISE MONEY FOR HAITI RELIEF

(Los Altos, CA) – The massive 7.0 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Haiti on January 12, 2010 touched Saint Simon Parish students and faculty.

In support of the efforts of Catholic Relief Services (CRS), the official international humanitarian agency of the U.S. Catholic Church, the school quickly mobilized forces and launched a school-wide fundraiser, allowing children a “free dress day” to generate donations. By combining donations from the children, school parents and faculty, Saint Simon Parish School collected $3,100 towards earthquake relief efforts for Haiti.

Additional donations to Haiti relief efforts through Catholic Relief Services (CRS) can be made by calling 1-877-HELP-CRS, online (www.crs.org), or by check to Catholic Relief Services, P.O. Box 17090, Baltimore, MD 21203-7090. In the memo portion of the check, please write: Haiti Earthquake.
