Thank you
Thank you to all parents for your generosity with the end of the year gifts.  The faculty and staff appreciate all of your support!   Have a wonderful summer. - St. Simon Faculty and Staff

Personnel Changes
As we end the 2008-2009 school, we want to say good-bye to those who will be leaving us.
Ms. Bordeleau, Ms. Riley, Mr. Ortiz, Ms. Parsons, Ms. Maples, and Mrs. Kristensen will be leaving us and taking on different endeavors.  Thank you for your ministry here at St. Simon Parish School.

Within our staff, we will have two teachers changing grade assignments.  Mrs. Nealon will take over as one of the 5th grade homeroom teachers partnering with Mrs. High, and Mrs. Gremett will take over as one of the 8th grade homeroom teachers.
We are continuing the interview process for these positions.  As soon as individuals are hired an announcement will go out to the community. Thank you for your patience and support.

FALL MAGAZINE DRIVE REMINDER
Our annual magazine will start at the beginning of the school year.  Please remember to save all magazine renewals and submit them through our students during the drive.  This is one of Saint Simon’s biggest fund raisers, so get the word out to family and friends.  Please keep in mind that if you do not need magazines personally, you may donate so that we can send magazines to organizations that do need them.  Your child will still get credit for these donations.  Thank you.

Host Families needed!
We currently have over 28 new 1st - 8th grade students coming this fall who are in need of a host family.
Our Host Family program is designed to welcome new families to our school and help them feel comfortable when the new school year begins.  The families get together over the summer to talk about policies, procedures, programs, and activities of St.Simon School. If you are interested in acting as a "host" family, please contact Robbyn Denzel at robbynD@comcast.net.
