Little Saints Preschool

 

Little Saints Preschool prepares children for kindergarten, and also includes subjects such as Religion, Math, Music and Movement, Art, and Language Arts. Little Saints Preschool has a partnership with home and school with a balance of academics and learning through play. The preschoolers also will get priority enrollment for kindergarten the following year. Our purpose is to provide a well rounded Catholic program for the preschool aged child focusing on spiritual, physical, social, cognitive, emotional and growth experiences.

General Information

Hours of Operation
8:15am - 11:15am Monday thru Friday.

Extended Care
Available Monday - Friday  from  7:00 am - 8:15 & 11:15am - 6:00pm.

Preschoolers
Children aged 4 and 5 years old are accepted. We are encouraging 3 year old's to join. Children should be 4 years of age by December 1st if they are planning to enter kindergarten the following year.  All preschooler should be 3 years old by December 1st the year of entry.

Goals

Little Saints Preschool provides a comprehensive and sequential curricular program that both challenges and meets the needs of diverse learners. Curricular programs are alligned with the California State Frameworks, and the Diocese of San Jose guidelines.

Admission Policy

Priority for admission to Saint Simon Preschool is given to active families of Saint Simon Parish and siblings of children attending Saint Simon School/Preschool. Appropriate consideration is given to Catholic students transferring into the Parish, Catholic students from other parishes, and other students in general, based on availability of space.

Curriculum Overview

On a daily basis the children will be learning about Science, Religion, Math, Language Arts, Music and Movement, and Enrichment. Below you will find a list of general concepts that are the focus of  subject areas taught.
