This is what we did today:
- Discussed All Saints Day and watched the St. Simon First Grade’s saints parade
- Practiced writing M and m
- Were introduced to five of our November high frequency words: big, little, in, go, to
- Worked with the terms fewest and most
- Learned about fish
- Read The First Thanksgiving by Tomie dePaola and Thanksgiving Is For Giving Thanks by Margaret Sutherland
- Colored pictures of a Pilgrim or Native American
- Began making Thanksgiving turkeys
- Had PE and finished watching It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

Homework: The reading shape from last week (a pumpkin) is due tomorrow. Today we sent home a cornucopia reading shape, which will be due next Wednesday.
