NASA Brings Science Alive to Saint Simon students

September 25, 2009 - Two NASA Ames employees (one a Saint Simon parent) spoke at a school assembly today to describe an exciting moon mission planned for Friday, October 9th 2009 when NASA crashes into the moon looking for signs of water.  On Impact Day, the debris expelled from the crash will be recorded and analyzed.  Will they find water?  Read more about the project and what our students heard by viewing the NASA project website http://www.lcross.arc.nasa.gov/mission.htm
