Tomorrow is a Hawaiian Shirt Day at St.
Simon School. We will have a walk-a-thon assembly in the afternoon,
and everyone is invited to wear a Hawaiian shirt for the day. For
boys that means uniform pants or shorts and a Hawaiian shirt (it may be
worn over the uniform shirt, if desired). For girls, it means a jumper/skirt
or uniform shorts/pants and a Hawaiian shirt (either worn under the
jumper... or... as a shirt over the jumper, with a uniform shirt under
the jumper). If your child prefers to just wear his/her school uniform
tomorrow, that is also fine.
St. Simon Used Uniform Exchange
St. Simon will collect uniforms in the School Breezeway on Tuesday,
April 21 and Wednesday, April 22. On Thursday, April 23 and Friday,
April 24 the uniforms will be available for purchase (donation) outside
of the parish center from 8 - 9am and 2:30 - 3:30pm. After these dates
the remaining uniforms will be donated to a local non-profit
organization. Please drop off any used uniforms in the School
Breezeway on Tuesday or Wednesday.
On April 22, 2009 @ 7:30 there is an open forum being held to review
the 2008/2009 Sports Program. This forum offers you a chance to listen
and contribute to a discussion regarding:
- what worked this past year
- what areas needs improvement
- suggested remedies to make improvements
Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday April 22, 2009 @ 7:30.
