Junior High Youth Group (JHYG)
The Junior High Youth Group (JHYG) is a committee of 7th and 8th grade parents that organize annual activities for junior high students at St. Simon Parish School. These events include dances at Catholic schools in our cluster grouping, as well as a spring activity.
The committee members will be presenting at Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 31st, 2011 at 6:45pm in the Church.
The first JHYG dance will be held on Friday, September 23rd from 7-10pm at St. Joe's Mountain View. The cost is $6.

Dear Junior High Parents:
Thank you to all who volunteered to chaperone/check in at the Junior High Dances. Below is a link that shows the designated chaperones for our regular dances for the entire school year - well done jr. high parents. This link is also on our Junior High Page. The names and dates are also listed below. The chaperones slots were filled in based on preferences noted previously or where no preference was noted, your name was put in a slot. Please review carefully.If you cannot make the date shown, please contact Theresa Clark at theresaclark64@gmail.com
The schedule with be called complete on October 28. For changes after October 28, you will need to review the volunteer list and find a substitute. We are lucky to have a long volunteer list so changing should not be an issue. Not every volunteer is on the current schedule but subs are often needed so please let Theresa know if you wish to be top of mind for subbing.
If you did not volunteer but would like to be on the list please also let Theresa know.
The December dance volunteers will be managed separately and communications will come in early November.
