This is what we did today:
- Discussed ways in which kindergartners can show love to family and friends
- Practiced writing R and r
- Wrote about keeping warm in the winter and made paper mittens
- Worked with numbers 0 through 12
- Began our work with symbols; focused on the American flag
- Discussed how water helps things grow
- Cut out a paper snowflake
- Had PE
- Read When Winter Comes by Nancy Van Laan and Snowballs by Lois Ehlert
Homework:
No reading shape is due tomorrow. Today we sent home a snowman reading shape, which will be due next Wednesday.
Today we sent home a snowman project, which is due on Friday, January 6. The instructions are in the children’s folders and are attached electronically to this update.
