This is what we did today:
- Discussed that Jesus is our Good Shepherd
- Read our leveled readings books
- Wrote together, copied and illustrated our sentence of the week
- Practiced counting and writing 17 and 18
- Listened to and discussed the California state song and wrote about something we love about California
- Discussed the importance of recycling
- Reviewed left and right by following instructions for coloring some snowmen
- Had P.E. and free activity time
- Read Thank You, Dr. King by Robin Reid and wrote about our own dreams

Homework: Please review Chapter 13 in God Loves Us. Parents, please sign on page 56.

Food Drive:
St. Simon is having a food drive this week. Kindergarten has been asked to bring in healthful food bars. Many thanks to those who have already brought some in!

Field Trip:
The permission slips for our upcoming field trip are due tomorrow.
