Welcome Back

¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español! Welcome back to The Spanish class at

St. Simon School! This year will be filled with the exciting challenge of continuing learning this new language. I teach this class because I enjoy teaching and helping my students overcome the challenge of learning a new language. This class will be exciting, rewarding, and fun. I strongly encourage you to speak Spanish during class. Feel free to ask many questions. You will learn much if you make the effort

Student Materials

· Binder Paper
· Erasable pen (blue or black ink only)
· Color Pencils
Spanish-English Dictionary: this is a MUST! Students need to work individually and will be assigned to find vocabulary words, write sentences and do homework and the Spanish-English dictionary will be needed for these assignments.

Spanish binder: Students are expected to maintain a neat, well-organized three ring binder to keep notes, assignments, handouts, worksheets, homework, quizzes and exams.

Headphones: Students are going to use the computers and iPads in order for them to practice their oral and listening skills.

Absence Make-up Procedure

Upon returning to school following an excused absence, it is the student’s responsibility to find and do his/her make-up work from the homework website: http://school.stsimon.org/class-pages.
