This is what we did today:
- Wrote together, copied and illustrated our sentence of the week
- Read our leveled readings books
- Read Happy Birthday Martin Luther King by Jean Marzollo and made a booklet about Dr. King
- Wrote about what it means to live in a free country
- Worked with 13 and 14
- Discussed places and events unique to California
- Participated in Star of the Week sharing
- Had Spanish and music
- Read The Missing Mitten Mystery by Steven Kellogg

Homework: Today we sent home the children’s reading books. The books, tote bags and logs are due back at school by Tuesday.
