This is what we did today:
- Wrote together and copied a topic sentence and added two details
- Discussed the effects of weather and seasons and wrote about our favorite weather
- Reviewed numbers through 31 and all of the concepts covered to date
- Participated in Star of the Week sharing
- Had Spanish and music
- Read Groundhog’s Special Secret by Iris Hiskey Arno
- Attended the TNT Dunk Team assembly (for Student Appreciation Day)

Homework: Today we sent home the children’s reading books. The books, tote bags and logs are due back at school by Tuesday.

Reminder: Please send in one adult-size shoebox on Monday, February 6, or Tuesday, February 7, labeled with your child’s name.
