This is what we did today:
- Discussed the importance of thinking carefully before choosing (in preparation for tomorrow’s discussion regarding the annunciation)
- Added a stable to our The First Christmas books
- Learned about St. Nicholas, whose feast day is tomorrow
- Wrote a three-sentence morning message together
- Practiced writing and worked with the short sound of O/o
- Were introduced to some new high frequency words (come, red, green, up, down)
- Discussed various landforms
- Started our study of water
- Traced sentences and colored pictures in the booklet Who Am I?
- Worked with number lines
- Learned about our Star of the Week
- Read a story with Mrs. Bo, our librarian

Please bring one extra shoe to school tomorrow for our celebration of the feast of St. Nicholas.
