St. Simon School has a challenging academic program which meets the guidelines
set by the Diocese of San Jose and the State of California. The curriculum
is a dynamic program intended to educate the whole child in an environment
that supports the harmonious development of each child's spiritual, intellectual,
psychological, social and physical growth.
The St. Simon Religion curriculum follows the Diocese
of San Jose Curriculum Guidelines. In 2000 the Diocese of San Jose
adopted guidelines of the California
State Board of Education K-12 Content Standards for language arts,
mathematics, social science and science. St. Simon curriculum is detailed

In addition to the core subjects, St. Simon curriculum includes:
- Technology Education (K-8)
- Foreign Language (Spanish) (K-8)
- Music (K-5)*
- Art (K-8)
- Physical Education (K-8)
* Please note: Instrumental Band is supported as an extra curricular activity for Grades 4-8.
