CCS boys volleyball: Bellarmine outlasts St. Francis for Division I title, CJ Roey Named Player of the Match

MOUNTAIN VIEW -- Bellarmine College Prep boys volleyball coach Tyler Hinz did not have to convince his players that they could beat St. Francis on Tuesday night.

They had just done it.

And now they have done it again.

Two weeks after a dramatic five-set win over the Lancers in a league tournament final, Bellarmine returned to its rival's home court and won another five-set thriller, this time for the Central Coast Section Division I championship.

Will Smith had 14 kills and Bellarmine kept the pressure on with effective play in the middle as the Bells emerged with a 25-23, 16-25, 25-20, 21-25, 15-10 win before a raucous atmosphere befitting of a section final.  Read the full article at http://bayareane.ws/25he2hm.
